I ordered the large jerk chicken. It was by far delicious and was alot of food in the plate. Plantains were good and the oxtail gravy on the white rice was good. Spicy but good food. Only reason not 5 stars in the front register attendant attitude was as if we just woke her up out her sleep to come to work today. But it's cool and food was

I’m giving a 4 start because the meat was amazing (Jerk chicken) rice was really good, but the cabbage needs more attention it is cooked perfectly not over and not under. It is just extra greasy from butter and no flavor. More spices and more salt (not a lot) is needed.

Just tried the jerk chicken at Red Hills and it was The jerk chicken sauce was PERFECT — not too thick, nice and thin, spicy, and full of flavor. The chicken itself was very tender and seasoned all the way through. I got it with rice & peas and cabbage and everything was on point. The portions were large too — definitely worth it! Definitely coming back!

This is my favorite Jamaican spot in Stone Mountain. The food is always perfectly seasoned and the plantains are always yummy and cooked well. They’re fast after you order and they’re very popular. I’ll keep going back every time I’m home. The oxtails, peas and rice are my favorite.

One of my favorite Jamaican spots! The food is always fresh and consistently delicious. The jerk chicken is perfectly grilled and packed with flavor every time. It’s a bit pricey for a single plate, but the portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend!

I’ve started to work my way at trying different Jamaican spots around DeKalb. Red Hills Jerk did not disappoint. I had the “small” plate (which is plenty) for $10 and it came with everything in the picture minus the beef paddy. Yes, they do charge a 4% card fee so bring some cash to save some cash. The staff were friendly and even offered what kind of sauce I wanted on the rice (ox tail sauce for me). This is not fast food. Plates take around 10-15 min to prepare, which is worth it for the quality you’re getting. Give this place a shot. The jerk is more on the spicy end but the jerk sauce balances it out nicely.

Red Hills Jerk is the only restaurant where I’ll buy jerk chicken—it’s the closest to authentic Jamaican flavor! The seasoning and smoky taste are always on point. Their soups are also delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Jamaican food!

No issues with staff, wait time, or food. It's just that my Goat Roti was really spicy. My Oxtails w/ peas & rice was good (much less spicy). If you're into spicy food, I'd say give them a try.
